Detailed itinerary

1

Enjoy door-to-door service as you travel in comfort toward the Douro Valley, accompanied by an expert guide sharing insights into the region’s history, culture, and winemaking heritage.

At Quinta da Pedra Alta, experience an entirely private visit reserved only for your group. Explore the lower and upper reaches of the valley by private Jeep, accessing vineyards, ancient stone terraces, the historic granite wine mill, and sun-drenched rocky viewpoints, while stepping into traditional lagares and cellars. Alongside the winemaker, gain an in-depth understanding of the winemaking process and the land that shapes each bottle.

Conclude with a premium tasting of five wines, paired with regional cheeses, smoked meats, dry fruits, local charcuterie, and estate olive oil — all enjoyed in a relaxed, non-touristic setting that reveals the Douro at its most authentic.

2

At Casa do Bucheiro, step into a privately hosted winery dating back to 1751, where Roman heritage still defines the craft. Reserved exclusively for our guests, this intimate experience includes a refined traditional lunch, with precisely paired wines designed to complement each course.

Taste a rare selection of premium wines aged up to 25 years, accompanied by regional cheeses and estate olive oil. Explore an 18-meter underground wine tunnel, where ancient stone walls shelter wines resting in silence, revealing aging techniques preserved since Roman times.

Unhurried and deeply authentic, every element remains original — from cellar practices to flavors passed through generations. This is not a tasting you join, but an invitation you receive — a wine experience few are ever offered, and one that stays with you long after the final glass.
