About this experience

It is important to note that I am very selective about my choice of wines. With over 400 wineries in Sonoma county, many small, fine wine oriented producers are overlooked by large scale industrial operations. We will taste some of Sonoma’s most heralded wineries (likely ones you’ve never heard of)- I like to champion true artisans and support small businesses!

Tours are a maximum of 4 guests to allow for an intimate and personalized experience.

Detailed itinerary

1

Have you heard about natural wine but don't know where to start? Allow me to explain the fundamentals of this fascinating subject while we visit two of Sonoma's best wineries. We'll talk sustainable farming (the differences between industrial, organic, and biodynamic), wild yeast fermentation, traditional winemaking practices, and the best part, talking about and tasting the wines themselves.

In between wineries we'll lunch at a renowned Sonoma county restaurant, where we can taste some local wines as they were intended: alongside a meal. Vegetarians are easily accommodated!
