This scenic trail is known for its distinctive landscape offering rugged shorelines, towering mountain ranges, eventually giving way to a panoramic view of the lake's sparkling waters. The scenic beauty makes it a popular destination for sightseeing, photography, and outdoor exploration! Keep your eyes peeled for Garfield Rock and enjoy a delicious lunch upon arriving to the cove. Remember, you are the driver of your own luxurious, climate-controlled Bronco fully equipped with Android & Apple Car Play and charging capabilities. Your adventure begins in the morning at our meeting point at Lake Las Vegas where all drivers will to wagon train to the Lake Mead National Recreation Area. About 30 minutes into this drive, we will stop at Redstone Dune Loop Trail. This fiery, rugged, and weathered formation was once integral to a sprawling desert expanse. These dunes, which shaped the landscape, date back one hundred forty million years. Through the ages, geological processes transformed the soft dunes into durable sandstone structures. This will be our first stop along the way to Boathouse Cove Road. A great spot to step out and take some amazing photographs, stretch your legs, and use the facilities as needed.

4

Boathouse Cove Road is a 9.1-mile backcountry road that runs from Northshore Road south to the Virgin Basin of Lake Mead. Beautiful mountains and washes provide excellent scenery and photo opportunities. Be sure to watch for desert wildlife, including hawks, eagles, bighorn sheep, and more.
