Tips & Guidelines
- Please be sure to send us any specific food and allergy restrictions in advance. We do our best to accommodate but it is not always possible.
- Be sure to arrive at least 15 minutes early to the tour meeting location, we will start promptly at 12 o'clock.
- Included in ticket prices are restaurant tips. As part of the hospitality industry if you enjoy the tour our guides except gratuities.
- As a courtesy to other guests and to ensure we stay on schedule with each tasting location, shopping is not allowed during the tour. There maybe some drink tastings if you upgraded your tickets however, water will be provided by most establishments.
- Please check the weather reports for the day of your tour, dress accordingly our tour operates rain or shine.
What to Wear:
- Participants will be on their feet and outdoors for most of the walking tour, please wear comfortable clothing and walking shoes. Flip-flops, high heels, and dress-shoes are not recommended.
What to Bring:
- Umbrellas on rainy days, warm layers on cold days, and cool clothing on hot days will make your experience much more enjoyable.
- Participants are urged to bring cameras and recorders. There are plenty of photo opportunities during the tour so you can share on social media.
- Guests are urged to bring sunglasses, sunscreen, and/or a hat during the summer months.
- We encourage you to bring a bottle of water to stay hydrated as we are walking.
- Food tasting locations are subject to change without notice.

Upon arrival park in one of many parking lots and garages, Visitor Center on America’s Cup Avenue, Long Wharf Metered Parking Lot or several on Marlborough St. Be aware that parking lots do fill up fast during peak months and days in Newport. You might get lucky if you with unmetered street parking on Dr. Marcus Wheatland Blvd.
