From here, the hunt begins: routes may lead up to two hours from the city, or even across the Swedish border, in search of clear skies. Along the way, your guides share Aurora science, Arctic nature, and local legends, supported by Arctic GM’s 24/7 Back Office Aurora Command Center and over 150 field team members across Lapland.

When conditions are right, your journey pauses at hand-picked wilderness locations, far from any light pollution. Step out into the snowy silence and look up — shimmering waves of green and red dance across the Arctic night sky. Your guides capture professional DSLR photos of you under the lights, while you warm up with thermal overalls, hot drinks, and light snacks.
