Detailed itinerary

1

The first stop will be the Zhinvali Reservoir, where we will spend time admiring the views! You will see the azure waters, and the guide will tell you an interesting story of this place!

Ananuri Fortress with the most interesting Assumption Church built in 1689. Its walls are decorated with a bas-relief in the form of a vine. And inside you can see the ancient frescoes!

3

We stop for the lunch in restaurant "Gorda". Bonus - wine degustation for all travelers!

4

The white Aragvi flows through clay shale and limestone. They give the river a characteristic white hue. The Black Aragvi River flows into it. The river flows through black shales and the water in it becomes dark.

5

The Cross Pass and the Peoples' Friendship Arch are a very popular tourist spot next to the Georgian military road. Again, because of the amazing mountain scenery. It is an observation deck at an altitude of 2384 meters. The arch was built in 1983 and is dedicated to the 200th anniversary of friendship between Russia and Georgia!

6

Stepantsminda - Gergeti

You will visit the village of Stepantsminda at the foot of Kazbek, and take a jeep up to the Gergeti Church. There we will share with you the facts about the fate of the church dedicated to the Holy Trinity, and, of course, the legends about the proud Caucasian giant — Mount Kazbek.
