The Pyramids of Giza the one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World still preserved today, and therefore one of the most famous buildings in the world. The three major pyramids of Giza include the Pyramid of Khufu, the Pyramid of Khafre, and the Pyramid of Mycrinus.
The Great Sphinx of Giza is a giant Egyptian statue. It was carved from the limestone of the Giza plateau and represented a recumbent lion with a human head and the so-called veil of a name. Initially, the Sphinx was painted red ocher and had a chin beard, but this fell into antiquity.
Next, see the valley temple used to cleanse the king's mummy before burial and perform the king's embalming process. Then go to lunch at a local restaurant.
