About this experience

This tour will allow you to visit the most beautiful places in Eastern Sicily, the tour will start from SYRACUSE, a UNESCO World Heritage city, where on the island of Ortigia you will admire the Duomo (temple from the 5th century BC) with a 20-minute stop, the Fonte Aretusa with 10 minute stop, the Maniace Castle with a 30 minute stop, the Temple of Apollo 5 minutes and the Diana Fountain 5 minutes, then we will leave Syracuse and head towards NOTO "Capital of Sicilian Baroque" and a UNESCO World Heritage Site we will make a stop for 2 hours, (you will be left at the entrance to the historic center "Porta Reale", then we will go to the ancient fishing village "Marzamemi" for a free stop of 90 minutes, finally we will return to Syracuse with the final destination of your choice. In addition, the stops and the stops can be managed personally by you.

Stop 1

In Piazza Duomo you can visit the Cathedral and the church of St Lucia alla Badìa and admire one of the most beautiful squares in the Mediterranean

we will stop to see the mythological Fonte Aretusa

stop at the Maniace Castle, entry to the terrace is free, while the visit to the Castle is subject to a fee

after the Ape Calessino tour (tuktuk) we will go to NOTO with car and driver, where we will have a free stop of 2 hours, in order to independently admire the well-known historic center of NOTO, capital of the Baroque and UNESCO Heritage

Marzamemi stands entirely on the sea and its name derives from the Arabic "Marsà al hamen", which means Bay of Turtle Doves, the birds that pass through here in spring. Another hypothesis, however, is that its name derives from the simple union of the two Arabic words marza (port) and meme (small).

Getting lost in the streets of Marzamemi is equivalent to taking a dive back into the past, a past rich in traditions, history and culture. Let yourself be carried away by the scents, explore every single alley, marvel at its colors that smell of the sea.
