Hakone Shrine is an ancient and renowned shrine, known for blessings of traffic safety, wish fulfillment, good luck, and protection from evil. The approach to the shrine is beautifully lined with cedar trees over 800 years old. The iconic red torii gate on Lake Ashi is a popular Instagram able spot, though it is currently closed and can only be viewed from a distance. Please note that the extra time will be cover the transfer from one location to another.

Heiwa no Torii, also known as the “Gate of Peace,” is the large red torii gate of Hakone Shrine that stands beautifully on the shores of Lake Ashi. It symbolizes peace and safety and is one of Hakone’s most famous photo spots. Visitors often line up to take pictures with the gate, which creates a stunning view against the lake and mountain backdrop.
