Detailed itinerary

1

Enjoy a relaxing 25-minute sightseeing boat ride on Ine Bay, famous for its picturesque Funaya—traditional wooden boathouses built right along the water. As you cruise through the bay, you’ll get a close-up view of these unique waterfront homes and the peaceful fishing village scenery that makes Ine one of Japan’s most charming coastal towns. Admire the ancient funaya complex along the coast of Ine Bay from a boat.

2

Amanohashidate Umatsu Park is one of the best viewpoints to admire the famous Amanohashidate sandbar, ranked among Japan’s top three scenic views. Located at the southern entrance of the sandbar, the park features beautiful pine trees, coastal walking paths, and easy access to the chairlift and observation platforms. Visitors can enjoy panoramic views, peaceful nature, and photo spots overlooking the iconic pine-covered land bridge stretching across Miyazu Bay. Umatsu Park is an ideal stop for travelers exploring Kyoto’s northern coast.

3
Stop 3

Enjoy a delightful lunch experience in Amanohashidate for 60 minutes. Please note that specific meal requests cannot be accommodated, but you will savor a Pork Hot Pot Royal Dining Set. Keep in mind that due to the ongoing pandemic, restaurant availability may vary. In case the original restaurant is unavailable, an alternative of equal value will be arranged to provide a similar dining experience.

4

Step back in time at Miyama Kayabuki no Sato, a charming village known for its traditional thatched-roof houses (kayabuki). Stroll along the quiet streets lined with historic homes, some of which are over 200 years old, and admire the classic rural architecture and beautifully maintained gardens.

Travelers can experience the authentic atmosphere of old Japan, take photos of the iconic thatched roofs, and even visit small local shops or museums showcasing regional crafts and lifestyle. It’s a peaceful, picturesque stop that offers a glimpse into Japan’s cultural heritage and countryside charm.
