The Roman Baths are well-preserved thermae in the city of Bath, England. It stands out as one of the most remarkable historic attractions in Northern Europe. Once a major religious spa of the ancient era, those in Roman Britain visited this site to pay homage to the goddess Sulis Minerva and enjoy the natural thermal springs, which continue to emit hot water even now.
Currently, visitors have chances to wander through the Roman Baths complex, walk along original Roman stone paths, and view remains of the Temple of Sulis Minerva. The museum collection situated adjacent to the bathing area, features a gilded bronze head of the goddess Sulis Minerva, along with other Roman artifacts.
The Roman Baths are preserved in four main features: the Sacred Spring, the Roman Temple, the Roman Bath House, and a museum which holds artefacts from Aquae Sulis.
