What you'll see

Our safari guide will pick you up from your hotel/selected location and drive you to the desert in a 4WD Land Cruiser. The desert is a 40-45 min ride away from the Dubai city. After reaching the desert, you can take a break for about 20-25 min, make use of bathrooms, rest, or even opt for a quad bike drive, while your driver adjusts the tyre pressure of your vehicle to make it apt for desert safari.

Your adventure for the day starts with some spine tingling dune bashing session. Marvel at the skills of your driver as he maneuvers the vehicle up and down the dunes at a very high speed. This bashing will give you a rollercoaster-like experience and get your adrenaline pumping.

After dune bashing, then it is time for some sand surfing along the dunes (sandboarding). If you are doing this activity for the first time, you don’t have to worry as there will be an instructor who will guide you through the activity. Surfing over the sands is quite a thrilling and unique experience!

Once you are done with the aforementioned activities, you will then be taken to a typical Al Khayma Arabian desert camp for some much needed refreshments. Here, be welcomed with Arabian coffee, sweets (gahwa, gaymat) and dry fruits. Then, it is time for a camel ride on the desert. As you ride on the camel, admire the vast landscapes and feel the allure of the desert. Once you are done with the ride, return to the camp and re-energize yourself with a brunch (light meal). Once you finish eating, our guide will drop you off at your preferred location or hotel.
