This area is the nature park of Los Volcanes and its space is covered by the lava of the eruptions that took place there in 1730-36 and 1824.

You will go on a very enlightening route during which you will be able to discover the amazing world of volcanoes while you walk across lava flows or ascend to volcanic cones where it’s possible to find spectacular craters, lava tunnels, lava lakes, etc.

All the volcanic structures are well conserved because of the arid weather of Lanzarote, which causes the evolution of its vegetation to be very slow. The result of this is a landscape which seems like a huge open-air museum of volcanology.
