Mi Bike Tours is the best way to experience Grand Haven like a local. Our bike route takes you through some of the most scenic parts of Grand Haven and stops at the most popular cafes and restaurants. This tour is fun, relaxed, and is guaranteed to be one of your favorite summer days!
Meet at Loose Spokes. Get you bike, get it adjusted to your height, meet your guide!
We will bike through some of Grand Haven's cutest neighborhoods to get from Loose Spokes to Aldea Coffee.
This route is as flat as possible (but keep in mind, Grand Haven is in a dune so there are a few gentle, rolling hills).
We will arrive at Aldea, and you will have a chance to try their coffee. They also have wonderful cookies, muffins, and vegan energy bites. You are responsible for your own food or drink at each stop along the way.
You will have the opportunity to sit in air conditioning and cool off, or walk around and explore the shops downtown Grand Haven.
After our first stop, we will ride our bikes down to the beach. We will stop at City Beach and you will have a few minutes to walk on the beach and dip your toes in Lake Michigan
After our quick stop at the beach, we will bike to Voyage Bowls - located in the YMCA parking lot. This is the biggest hill of the biking route. It's totally manageable, especially since our bikes have gears, but if needed you can walk your bike up the hill!
You will have the chance to try one of their incredible acai bowls or fresh fruit smoothies. Be sure to try their homemade drippy peanut butter - it's incredible!
We will bike down the board walk and see boats as well as Grand Haven's Train Depot Museum.
Our final stop is at Side Bar Artisan Coffee, where you can grab a coffee, tea, cold brew, kombucha, or smoothie.
You also have the option to go to Odd Side Ales and grab a beer, if you prefer.
You will be able to sit inside in air conditioning and cool off at this location. Or you can walk around downtown Grand Haven and explore the shops.
At this time, you might be ready for lunch. If so, the best options are Electric Hero or Toasted Pickle. Both typically have long wait times, up to 40 minutes.
If you want to order lunch I recommend placing your order online for pick up while at Voyage Bowls. This way, it will be ready while you are at Side Bar/ Odd Side Ales.
After stopping here, we will bike back to our starting location, Loose Spokes
Meet at Loose Spokes Bicycle Shop. Please park in Loose Spokes' parking lot or along the side of the road.
