About this experience

This experience goes far beyond an ordinary cooking class—it’s a genuine encounter with Balinese culture and village life. You’ll learn time-honored traditions such as Jamu making and cooking over an open bamboo fire, surrounded by the calm rhythm of daily life near Mt. Batukaru.
Each moment invites you to connect—with nature, with local flavors, and with the people who keep these traditions alive. Our hosts are families from the surrounding village, who share their heritage with warmth and pride.
By visiting, you’ll learn from them and help keep their strong village community alive for generations to come.
