Chamonix:
After scenic ride, we arrive in Chamonix, France, at the foot of Mont Blanc, Western Europe's highest peak.
Known for its history, stunning landscapes, and world-class skiing, Chamonix offers a natural beauty and culture.
Situated at 1035 meters above sea level, this destination serves as our starting point.
We will proceed to the Montenvers Train, which climbs from Chamonix at 1035 meters to the Montenvers station at 1913 meters above sea level, offering spectacular views of the Mer de Glace glacier.
Afterward, we’ll take the Aiguille du Midi Cable Car, ascending from Chamonix at 1035 meters to the summit of Aiguille du Midi at 3842 meters above sea level, where we can marvel at the breathtaking mountains surrounding this renowned alpine hub.
We will experience an elevation change of 7370 meters.
As part of our adventure, we’ll hop aboard the Petit Train Touristique de Chamonix, You’ll get a front-row seat to Chamonix’s history, monuments + scenery.
Gare du Montenvers Mer de Glace:
Arriving at upper train station, you’ll have up to 2 hours. The views here are stunningly beautiful.
You’re free to customize your time however you like, soaking in the scenery, exploring surroundings, or simply relaxing.
The Téléphérique Mer de Glace ticket is included in the price, if in operation.
The journey begins in Chamonix at an altitude of 1035 meters.
The Montenvers train, a rack-and-pinion railway, takes you on a 20-minute ride up to the Montenvers station at 1913 meters.
This ascent offers spectacular views as you climb nearly 900 meters through the rugged alpine landscape.
From Montenvers, you can take the Téléphérique de la Mer de Glace, a cable car descending to the glacier level, 1800 meters, depending on the ice level.

As part of our adventure, we’ll hop aboard the Petit Train Touristique de Chamonix, a charming 100% electric train that’ll take us through the heart of the town.
You’ll get a front-row seat to Chamonix’s fascinating history, stunning monuments, and jaw-dropping scenery—all while relaxing on this guided ride.
Whether we explore the bustling center or venture out to quaint villages like Les Bois and Les Praz under the stars, it’s all included in your tour ticket, no extra costs, just pure enjoyment.
Classic City Tour (Circuit 1), departure, every 45 minutes, Place Balmat (opposite the post office).
This tour covers the center of Chamonix, highlighting its history, monuments, and architecture.
Chamonix:
