About this experience

The city of sails has much to offer. At first I give you an overview of our place in the Pacific from the top of Mount Eden with magnificent 360 degree views of Auckland City. We continue through the Auckland Domain with the Auckland Museum. We continue with a drive through the suburb of Parnell, restored in the old colonial style and with many beautiful shops and galleries. If time allows we pay a visit to Holy Trinity Cathedral and the unique St. Marys Church. From here we drive along the waterfront of Tamaki Drive to see several of the stunning beaches along Auckland's shoreline. Enroute you will have beautiful vistas of Auckland’s youngest volcano, Rangitoto and you will learn about the vibrant past and present of Auckland’s isthmus, or Tamaki Makauru like the indigenous people named this site. More recent sights include the Harbour Bridge and the newly developed Wynyard Quarter from which you will have stunning sea views.
