Nuestro guía turístico los llevara aun lugar muy impresionante, una iglesia única en el mundo en el cual podrá contemplar una arquitectura con diseños únicos y sobre todo la historia que transmite esta hermosa y misterioso templo.

En el año 1545 los pobladores que abandonaron la Villa de San Salvador, en el valle de la Bermuda, establecieron un nuevo asentamiento en el lugar denominado «La Aldea» en el valle de las Hamacas, cerca de la ribera del río Acelhuate.

En los años siguientes, la ciudad crecería alrededor de un espacio vacío denominado Plaza Mayor o de Armas que hoy en día es la Plaza Libertad.

La plaza Gerardo Barrios se encuentra ubicada en el centro histórico de la ciudad de San Salvador.

La estatua que predomina en el lugar, dedicada al presidente Gerardo Barrios, fue creada por Francisco Durini y develada en 1909

Panoramicamente observaremos el Palacio Nacional localizado en el centro histórico de la ciudad capital de El Salvador.1​ Se trata de un edificio de dos pisos, de un estilo predominantemente neoclásico, aunque cuenta con algunas decoraciones neorrenacentistas y, en menor medida, neogóticas. Sus portones y otras decoraciones en bronce y hierro son de estilo art nouveau. Por todo ello, no sería descabellado decir que su arquitectura es de carácter ecléctico, aunque, cabe decir, el estilo que prima a la vista es el neoclasicismo.

Tendremos vista panorámica del teatro nacional su construcción inició el año de 1911 y terminó en 1917. Es uno de los centros más importantes para las artes escénicas en este país.
