The Gorge of Irini is in South Crete, near the fisherman's village of Sougia. With a length of 7 km, it has astonishing views, and rare flora and fauna to be discovered!

Our Private tour to Irini Gorge starts early when our private driver will pick you up on our private air-conditioned van and head to South Crete and the entrance of Irini Gorge. After a short photo stop, you pass the entrance of St. Irini Gorge to start the 3-hour Hike on your way to the South Coasts of Crete.

After the end of our trail, next to "Oasis Tavern" our private driver await you at the gorge’s exit and we reach an abandoned Cretan Village called Koustogerako: Traditional architecture & abandoned scenery await us while we embark on our car to head to Sougia beach for a rewarding swim!

We start our private transfer to Irini Gorge & South Crete: Our professional historian Tour guide will explain to you our island's history, the mighty mountains that can be found in Crete and the simple way of life of the Cretans. He will answer all your questions about Crete, out history, our ethics, customs and traditions while we are heading for the entrance of Irini gorge in South Crete.

Hike through the mighty Irini Gorge, with a length of 7km, rich in indigenous Cretan fauna and imposing landscapes. Our licensed guide will wait for you at the end of the gorge hike to continue our tour to Sougia beach, in South Crete.

Free time for a rewarding swim at Sougia beach, surrounded by an imposing scenery with WW2 relics: Our licensed guide will explain to you the significance of the South Cretan Coast, not only in recent years but also throughout our Cretan History. Chance for lunch at the many traditional Cretan Taverns with fresh food in the vicinity, overlooking the Libyan Sea.

Head back to town, full of memories, as we pass many picturesque villages of Mainland Chania in off-the-beaten paths and non-touristy areas.
