About this experience

Jozani Forest, also known as Jozani Chwaka Bay National Park, is the only national park on Zanzibar Island in Tanzania. It is very small (only 50 square kilometres) but a beautiful and tranquil place to visit. It is one of the must-see tours. It is a home of endangered red colobus monkeys and wonderful photo opportunities and sightings of these rare creatures living in the forest reserves are possible on the pathways.
The spice tour is a half-day (4-hour) guided walking tour that passes through villages and spice plantations. It starts at Kibweni Palace and then walks through to Kidichi. Here are the Persian Baths built by Seyyid Said Sultan for his wife Princess Shehrzard, one of the family members of the Shah of Persia. From here you will then proceed to Kizimbani spice plantations and walk through the spice farm, where workers climb trees, seek out specific plants, and cut off various barks, letting you see, feel and taste everything.
