About this experience

Our catamaran takes you to the island of Icacos. Disembark and find yourself at a beautiful beach with crystal clear blue water. The catamaran will stay at the beach until after lunch. During that time you can beach comb, swim or just relax on the beach in this beautiful Caribbean setting. After lunch we sail to a reef where you can snorkel around the reef to see tropical fishes and coral. Then we hoist our sail for a relaxing sail back to the dock

Our signature experience aboard the Barefoot IV Catamaran is a must-do while visiting the Enchanted Island of Puerto Rico. Guests will enjoy a 45-minute sail to Icacos Island or one of the breathtaking surrounding islands of the Fajardo Keys. Swim, sunbathe, play with our beach toys, or collect shells on a deserted island. Take advantage of our flotation belts in the crystal-clear Caribbean water while sipping on a refreshing piña colada.

Our catamaran arrives and anchors at Icacos Island. You can swim at the beach in clear blue waters using our complimentary floating devices. In the afternoon, after lunch, we sail to the Reef for snorkeling.

If you have other dietary restrictions, please contact the local operator immediately after booking. Vegetarian options are included in the buffet.

The drive to Villa Marina is about 1 to 1 1/2 hours from San Juan. Please check in at the dock by 8:30 am at the latest.
We need to be informed in advance by phone if you are bringing a certified service dog. Dog must have service dog tag/ID.
If we need to cancel the charter due to weather you will not be charged. All determinations about weather cancellations are made by our captain. We watch the weather on an hourly basis, and in the tropics the weather is often locally specific. Please do not make the mistake of deciding not to arrive to your excursion because you think the weather might not be acceptable, as you will be charged as a no-show if the trip goes out.
NO refund for NO SHOW or late arrival.
Minimum age is 4 years old. We will require proof of age.

Meeting point

Check in is at 8:30 am the latest at Barefoot IV Catamaran, Avenida Marina View, Carr. 987 Km 1.3 Saldineras, Villa Marina, Fajardo, PR 00738. Passing Main Gate you'll see boats in dry dock to the left. Right after you will see a small gate to the left. Street parking is available.

Important notes

Meet at dock no later than 8:30am for check in. Gate to the dock is closed at 8:50am. Catamaran departs 9am (no exceptions.)

Due to heavy morning traffic in the Metro Area we suggest to leave 1 1/2 hour prior to check in if coming from San Juan. Check in has to be in person at the dock

At the marina you will see boats to the left. Right after you see a Castillo sign on your left next to a small gate. You can park your vehicle on the street and check in with the crew.
