The first town that we will pass by is called Kiseljak. This town is famous for its natural sparkling water springs. On the way back from our tour, we will stop and taste the sparkling water from the springs. Important Note: The remaining hours will be allocated for travel time from pick-up to drop-off.
Today, Fojnica is best known for its spa, whose radioactivity and medicinal properties were tested at the end of the 19th century. The exploitation of the spa began after the First World War. Fojnica was conquered by the Ottoman Empire in the spring of 1463. It was found to be the second largest town in Bosnia, with only Srebrenica being bigger than Fojnica. The number of inhabitants in Fojnica continued to decline. Under Ottoman rule, the settlement was annexed to the Visoca nahija in the 17th and 18th centuries. After our hiking tour, we will stop by Fojnica for lunch.

This amazing place is perfect for experiencing nature in all its glory and escaping the hustle and bustle of everyday life. Next to the waterfalls, on a cozy plateau, there's a special spot where you can relax. You'll find a mini fridge, a basin with spring water, and even a fireplace waiting for you. The waterfalls can be admired from a lovely viewing point along the path. We'll take a stroll down to the waterfall plateau so you can soak in the beauty of the Kozice waterfalls. There are some fantastic spots among the trees where you can enjoy the waterfalls, and we'll make sure to visit all of them. The Waterfall Kozice has three lovely areas to explore and enjoy the view from. We'll begin by visiting the first one, which is just a short walk from the entrance.
The first stage. Not too far from where the beautiful Kozice waterfall begins, we'll take a hike to the first spot and reach the plateau, where we can get an amazing view of the the waterfall. It's the perfect spot to snap some great pictures and enjoy the soothing sound of the splashing water.
Next up is the second stage! It's just a short distance from the first stage. Here, we'll get to experience the middle plateau of the waterfall. It's a fantastic spot to take in the stunning views of both the lower and upper parts of the beautiful waterfall.
The third stage.
I just wanted to share that it's a quick 10-minute walk from the second viewing point to the third plateau of Kozice Waterfall. It's the perfect spot to take in the incredible view of the waterfall! You'll also adore the charming little water lakes around the plateau. You can kick off your shoes, take a leisurely stroll, and savor the cool, fresh water of the Kozice River. We can even enjoy a cup of coffee or tea while listening to the marvelous sounds of nature and taking in the stunning views of the waterfall from the first, second, and third viewpoints.
Heads up that on our way back, we'll be making a pit stop in the lovely town of Fojnica at a restaurant called "Stara Banja Fireplace" for lunch. We can dig into some delicious Bosnian dishes as well as any other favorites you're craving. Plus, the restaurant is nestled in a forest, making it the perfect spot for a delightful lunch break. Can't wait!
As we head back to Sarajevo, we'll be making a stop at Kiseljak Water Park. There, we can taste or collect some of the famous sparkling water the town is known for. It's exported all around the world, so it's definitely worth checking out!
The only shopping mall located in the downtown area of the city is called Aria. You can easily reach it by walking from the old part of the city, also known as Carsija, until you reach the end of the walking area. You will get in front of Aria Mall; please be there.
