Detailed itinerary

Our Tour will begin at 8:00 in the morning, passing us by you to your hotels that are located within this Tourist Destination that is Puerto Escondido Oaxaca Mexico, later we will take highway number 200 or also called the coastal highway heading to the South East of Mexico As in all our 39 Experiences between Tours and Excursions, the Driver Guide will talk about the history of the different communities that we will be passing from the real Mexico driving approximately 40 minutes without stopping and talking how the local people live in this region.

Upon reaching the community of Santa Elena we will take a deviation to the left of the coastal road to begin to enter in the Municipality of Tonameca, we will pass in some intresting communities such as San Juanito, La Botija, Palma Larga or more depending on the interest that is this living at the time of the Tour (just in case that we see someting intresting we can stop to take just a few pictures)but on the itinirerary we pass all this area without stopping, we get in the car 30 minutes.

Then we will arrive at our first main point which is the Municipal Agency of San Francisco Cozoaltepec Province of Oaxaca with approximately 2200 people also called Cradle of Zapotec Culture , in this intresting Rural Community we will spend approximatelly 2 hours introducing our self with the local people, visiting the Church of 1963, visiting the Municipal Palace, take some real mexican breakfeast, (food and drinks is not included) and take some time to walk and exploring around this intresting area.

Later we will continue by some special transportation, 4 by 4 truck, ATV´s, horses, all depending how the dirt road is in the time that we do the Tour, we will continue go up The South Sierra Madre, for half an hour, then we stop for 10 minutes to admire the first view point of Los Mangales to take some beautifful pictures, then we continue and other 20 minutes to get to our second main point, once we are in the highest viewpoint, Our second main point of the Tour.

Between the Gavilan Mountain to return to Puerto Escondido we will get 2 more hours when we finish the history of Don Tristano de Arellano, a good connoisseur of the fertility of the Bajo, was tempted by greed and wanted to deprive the indigenous people of their land to form a Hacienda, for that purpose he went to the Viceroy in request of the respective property title, the viceroy in reply dispatched what next, the Viceroy of New Spain lets the Mayor of Huatulco in Antequera know that Don Tristáno de Arellano, the trustee of Tututepec, made a request to them for certain lands in the lower part of Pochutla, in order to possess them as property and apparently what Hereby said we send to inform that the said lands belong to some people and if there will be any damage to the indigenous people and after said investigation together with our opinion, we will send it so that what is appropriate can be provided.
