Pick up from accommodation in Huaraz around 9:00 am: Departure towards the Callejón de Huaylas, between the Cordillera Blanca and Negra. The whole journey is accompanied by wonderful snow-capped mountains, among them the snowy Huascarán (6 768 m) the highest mountain in Peru and considered the highest tropical snow-capped mountain in the world.
We arrived to Ancient Yungay where we will take a detour by a confirmed road to enter the Huascarán National Park, we will arrive at the Llanganuco gorge to appreciate the scenic beauty of the Llanganuco Lagoon (Chinancocha (3,850msnm)), this lagoon is characterized by the intense turquoise green color of its waters and lush forests of queñual that grows on its banks
After visiting Llanganuco we started our trip back to Yungay and headed to the city of Caraz to visit its Plaza de Armas and its wooden built gazebo, stone cathedral, dairy factory: Manjar Blanco y exquisite handmade sweets. 7:00 pm: arrival in Huaraz.
