About this experience
Enjoy two wonderful masterpieces of Egyptian ancient archaeology and a modern master work. The High Dam (also Aswan High Dam) is a 111 meters high, 3830 long dam that was inaugurated in 1970 with a 10 years construction process. The dam was built mainly to control the floods, generate hydroelectricity and provide irrigation water. Unfinished Obelisk is the largest known ancient one and was intended to complement the so-called Lateran Obelisk. Temple of Isis at Philae is another magnificent masterstroke temple on Agilkia Island in Lake Nasser. Witness how these beautiful miraculous landmarks came into existence!
