On the coast of ancient Lycia stood the Greek and Roman city of Phaselis. Its remnants can be found in the Kemer district of Turkey's Antalya Province, north of the contemporary town of Tekirova. It is located 16 kilometers (9.9 miles) south of the popular tourist destination of Kemer, situated between the Bey Mountains and the woodlands of the Olympos National Park. Daily yacht cruises are available to take you to Phaselis and other historic sites nearby.
