Pointe Venus lighthouse is a lighthouse located in the commune Mahina, in the far north of the Island of Tahiti. It marks the north of the Island and marks the bay Matavai. It was the first lighthouse in the South Pacific.

2
Stop 2

The Blowhole was formed millions of years ago by the flow of viscous washed through the current basalt cliffs. As waves rush into the underwater cave, they force a geyser through the hole, creating a loud and dramatic blast depending on the wave's strength.

3
Stop 3

The Faarumai Valley is home to three waterfalls, each sourced from different watersheds. Vaimahuta, the easiest to reach, is an 80-meter waterfall just a short walk away. The other two, Haamaremare Rahi at 100 meters and Haamaremare Iti at 40 meters, are a 20-30 minute hike from Vaimahuta. After heavy rainfall, the waters form rivers that tumble down in successive cascades. The basalt rock of the mountain has eroded and collapsed in parts, creating a horseshoe-shaped rocky barrier

4

The Tahara'a Belvedere, perched high on the island, offers visitors breathtaking views of Matavai Bay and the island of Moorea. Matavai Bay is historically significant as the landing site of the first European explorers, marking the initial encounter between Maohi culture and the Western world.
