Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Your tour starts at the stunning Trevi Fountain, one of Rome’s most famous landmarks. Your guide explains the history of the fountain, its baroque design, and the legend of tossing a coin to ensure your return to Rome. You’ll have time to enjoy the atmosphere and take photos before continuing into the narrow side streets.

2

You then walk through charming cobbled streets to the Pantheon. From the outside, your guide will show you the impressive façade, massive columns, and ancient inscription on the front. You’ll learn how this building started as a Roman temple and later became a church, and why its dome is considered one of the greatest engineering achievements of the ancient world – all while admiring the monument from the square in front.

3
Stop 3

Next, you continue to Piazza Navona, a beautiful baroque square built on the site of an ancient Roman stadium. Your guide tells you about the rivalry between Bernini and Borromini, explains the Fountain of the Four Rivers, and points out the best angles for photos. You’ll experience the street artists, fountains, and cafés that make this square so lively.

4
Stop 4

If time and walking pace allow, you head to Campo de’ Fiori, famous for its morning market and vibrant evening atmosphere. Your guide talks about the story of Giordano Bruno and shows you nearby bakeries, wine bars, and authentic trattorias.
Alternatively, the guide can focus more on the hidden lanes and small piazzas around Piazza Navona and the Pantheon area, sharing local stories and insider tips.
