Departing from Rangiora Airfield, you’ll have the opportunity to enjoy scenic views along the way. Travelling along the braided Ashley River, you’ll venture towards the coastline and then head up towards Amberley Hills, where you can take in views of Kaikoura. Your flight continues inland to the picturesque Waipara Gorge and the renowned vineyards of Waipara Valley. The return trip offers the option of mountain top landing, which will give you stunning views overlooking the Canterbury Plains.

Here you’ll have the chance to indulge in a wine tasting and lunch to savour the flavours of the region. Staff at the venue can offer information on the history of wine making in the area. Relax in the picturesque surroundings before your return flight.
