Welcome to a private tour of two castles and a local food tasting. Visiting Peles Castle, built by the first king of Roumania, Carol I. Built between 1873-1914 Peles Castle was constructed for the first King of Roumania, Carol I. The King arrived in Sinaia in 1866,Carol stayed here for a short time, being pleasantly impressed by the place. The castle took part in some significant visits and events , the old emperor of Austria-Hungary, Franz Joseph, in 1896 ,the abdication of King Michael I, the last King of Roumania , the visit of Richard Nixon, president of USA .Now the castle it's in the is in the property of the Royal Family and the minister of culture.

Construction was completed in 1911.The castle was placed on the site of an old hunting lodge that the prince's family had used as a halt during their pilgrimages to Brașov.The inside the castle has a pronounced romantic character.During the comunist period the building served as a sanatorium.During the post-communist period, the castle was returned to the direct heiress.The castle is now privately owned and has been open to the public since 2010.In addition to its traditional elements, since 2016, the castle courtyard hosts an adventure park for children and parents, as well as two restaurants.In 2022, the castle was a filming location for the Netflix series Wednesday.
