We begin the tour with pickup from your hotel in the morning. Madureira Park, located in the North Zone of Rio de Janeiro, in the heart of the city’s outskirts, is one of the largest and most complete parks in Rio. Covering an area equivalent to 14 Maracanã Stadium fields, the park impresses with its size and the variety of activities it offers. It features volleyball and basketball courts, a synthetic grass field for soccer games, and a popular skate park. Its decorative fountains, gazebos, and more than 800 native trees and flowers make it a perfect place for photos and peaceful moments. Since its renovation in 2015, the park has adopted sustainable practices such as rainwater harvesting, solar energy use, low-consumption lighting, and solid waste management.
