The tour departs for the boarding point from 8:20 AM, with times varying depending on the distance to the location. After boarding the speedboat, we will navigate the river for about 40 minutes until reaching the village of Vassouras. During the rainy season, Vassouras boasts deep lagoons perfect for swimming, but the main attraction is the playful Macaco Prego monkeys. Next, we return to the boat and head to the village of Mandacaru, where you can climb the Preguiças Lighthouse for a magnificent panoramic view. The village also offers charming craft shops, refreshing caipirinhas, and typical-flavored ice creams. Finally, we visit Caburé Beach, a sandy peninsula bordered by the river on one side and the sea on the other. Lunch will be served at one of the beach restaurants. Follow the pilot’s instructions, with the return usually starting around 2:30 PM and arrival around 3:30 PM.
