Detailed itinerary

1

Where are the trulli and the oldest part of Alberobello? Why, was it built without using cement or mortar? We can imagine Alberobello 700 years ago: Bosco Selva is a perfect time machine. We will explain how a society that lived in subsistence had to build buildings with what it had for centuries. We will observe one of the Karst Geosites created inside the Wood; its tree essences. We will be in the background: Masseria Mangiato; Zippo Masseria; Zippitello and many other places outside the usual tourist circuits
Dry stone walls of various kinds. We will pass by Capo di Gallo; Masseria Cacacenere; Easter woman; Half Wheel Masseria . Iconic places and among the most isolated from the city core until recently

2

We will visit areas that have preserved the popular traditions of the last century. Capo di Gallo district; Malvisco, Zippo, Zippitello; Easter woman. The same dry architecture of the trulli that we will see will be different from the "tourist" ones in the center of Alberobello

3

Bosco Selva has half of its territory in the neighboring Municipality of Martina Franca. We will observe the different construction of the dry stone walls and, in general, of the dry architecture compared to Alberobello itself.
