You will be picked up directly from your hotel for a guided panoramic tour, lasting approximately 2 hours, of the historic centre of Naples.
You will stop at the Cathedral to admire the Treasury Chapel in its Baroque style and the basilica of Santa Restituta, the first early Christian basilica from the 4th century AD. You will then continue by minibus to the city centre, passing Castel Nuovo, the so-called Maschio Angioino, and make another stop in the Posillipo district, at the terrace of the church of Sant'Antonio, which offers the best panoramic view of the gulf. Returning to the city centre, you will make a further stop to visit the famous Piazza del Plebiscito, the splendid Galleria Umberto I and the exteriors of the Royal Palace and the An Carlo Theatre.
Your tour will end with a guided visit to the archaeological excavations of Pompeii, where your guide will show you the most evocative places of the ancient Roman city, such as the Forum, the Baths, the Lupanare, the Greek Theatre and the plaster casts of the bodies of the inhabitants buried by the ashes and lapilli during the eruption of Vesuvius in 79 AD.
Return to the hotel will be at approximately 14:15.
