Scenic Drive: Up Mule Pass to Juniper Flats
With your feast packed and your windows down, wind your way up through the Mule Mountains, past tunnels and old mining roads. As the town of Bisbee falls behind, the air cools and the pines start to thicken.
About 10 minutes out, we will hit Juniper Flats — a rugged, secluded ridge with sweeping views over rolling hills, juniper-studded valleys, and maybe even a hawk circling in the distance. Park under the shade of a tall pine or spread a blanket on a rock shelf with the world stretching out beneath you.
Discover Bisbee's mining heritage as we pass by the captivating Bisbee Mining Museum on our delectable food tour journey.
Stepping into the Bisbee Grand Saloon, we're immersed in a blend of Wild West charm and welcoming ambiance. The historic setting sets the stage for a culinary experience that pays homage to local traditions. The menu offers a tantalizing array of dishes, from hearty classics to inventive delights, all prepared with care and flair. Each bite is a journey through Bisbee's rich culinary heritage.
