Detailed itinerary

1
Stop 1

Your city-licensed guide will meet you in beautiful Forsyth Park on the corner of Gaston and Whitaker Streets to begin your stroll throughout Savannah's Historic District. See the famous, gorgeous fountain, marvel at the Armstrong-Kessler Mansion and its statuary garden, take great group shots with amazing backdrops, and learn how the Romantic Movement spawned this glorious "must-see" urban forest and park!

2

You must-see all the stunning mansions and historic sights around this handsome square! Hear about "Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil" and how it impacted our city, see the only Gothic Revival synagogue in the U.S., learn about Savannah's connection to Count Pulaski, and so much more.

3

Soak in the street that locals and visitors alike deem the prettiest in town! Beautiful homes, ironwork, flowers, and moss-draped live oaks provide numerous photo opportunities. The history of Savannah grey brick, the "Savannah Stoop", and historic pavement are also awaiting discovery here. There's even dining and shopping options we will see on Jones Street as well!

4
Stop 4

You must see all the historic sights and marvelous buildings on Madison Square! We will seek out carriage stoops, gargoyles, an English knot garden, lapis-lazuli ornamentation, historic cannons, a British double-decker bus, and bookstore felines here among other treasures. Discover how this place witnessed the drama of the Civil War in days long past, to where our renown art school got started via a VW Beetle in modern times.

5

The Hamilton-Turner Mansion, Andrew Low House, Cathedral Basilica of St. John-the-Baptist, Flannery O'Connor--all are highlights of this square that we must see! But, there are details often missed here that we will discover as well...a Charleston single house, our favorite stone lions, a girl scout cookie stockpile, our best dive bar, and the place Joe Odom from "The Book" loved best for his wild parties.

6

You really must see the square that Savannah residents vote their favorite--a true charmer in all of its details and surprising stories! Just wait and see...
