You will have an opportunity to spot big mammals and a variety of wild animals such as elephants, buffalo, lions, giraffes, gazelle, impala, baboon, oribi, and Burch ell’s zebra, topis, bush back, leopard, bushbuck and the recently re-introduced Lions and Rhinos in the park. You will also see crocodiles and hippos, together with a large concentration of birdlife, with over 525 identified species. Making it a birding paradise to the bird watchers. The park is also known to have African big five animals; Lion, Leopard, Rhino, Elephant and African buffalo. Akagera game viewing drive takes about 5-6 hours in the park. You will enjoy your packed lunch at the picnic area, exit the park in the late afternoon and drive back to Kigali.
