After pick up from the hotel, we are heading to Penang Hill, a famous hill resort since 1788. We will ride a funicular train up to the peak at 735 m above sea level, on a 1996m long railway which was built in 1923. Enjoy the cool air while seeing the panorama view of Penang, natural tropical rain forest view surrounded the hill, and heritage buildings since British colonial period.
Penang Hill and its surrounding to the west was designated as Biosphere Reserve by UNESCO in 2021. The Habitat Penang Hill provides us a chance to walk inside and has a close look of the tropical rainforest aged 130 million year old, on an easy access nature trail. We also can enjoy a beautiful view of surrounding forest, seas and islands from the Curtis Crest Treetop walk, at 815m above sea level.
Kek Lok Si is a large Buddhist complex with many temples. Follow our experience tour guide to explore all the temples at the complex, especially the 7 storeys tall Ten Thousand Buddhas Pagoda, and a 30.2m tall bronze statue of Kuan Yin (Goddess of Mercy) covered by a huge pavilion.

Wat Chayamangkalaram is a Siamese Buddhist temple founded by Phra Phorthan Kuad in 1845. The temple features a 33m long reclining Buddha statue built in 1958.
