Entry to the Basilica begins with a security screening conducted by the Italian State Police, located in the right hemicycle of St. Peter’s Square when facing the Basilica.

Pilgrims and prayer-goers can access the “Prayer Path”, marked with yellow signs, which is staffed for guidance. Visitors for general tours must pass through security at one of the other gates available for public access, where queues are managed by the Italian State Police.

The Roman Forum, a key part of ancient Rome’s historical center, is included in your tour with an exterior visit. You'll have the chance to take photos and appreciate the ruins that once formed the heart of Roman public life. While the tour does not include an interior visit, if you would like to replace another stop to explore the Forum from the inside, please contact us after your reservation. We will gladly customize the itinerary to match your preferences and make your experience truly unforgettable.

The Colosseum, one of Rome’s most famous landmarks, is included in your tour with an exterior visit. You'll have the opportunity to take memorable photos and admire this ancient architectural wonder up close. While an interior tour is not part of the standard itinerary, if you wish to replace another stop with an inside visit to the Colosseum, feel free to contact us after your booking. This direct transfer guarantees a smooth and timely return to your ship at Civitavecchia Port.
