The old town met three criteria for entry as a World Heritage Site and remained so since its inscription in the mid-1990s.
The 3-hour guided drive-and-walk tour begins and ends at your hotel. It will take you to the city market,
the slave market (Anglican Cathedral), a glance of the High Court, former English Club, Tipu-tippu House,
the busting Kelele Square, orphanage house, the Forodhani gardens and nearby old fort (built in the
1700), the house of wonders (built in 1883) as well as the Palace Museum. Then you will embark a traditional dhow to start your seashore cruise in Stone Town. Enjoy snacks and drinks provided during the cruise.
