Upon arrival at Hangzhou we firstly visit the famous West Lake. The West Lake undoubtedly represents the beauty of Hangzhou. After lunch, we will continues to the Lingyin Temple where we will spend some time appreciating the profound Buddhist atmosphere.
This is the oldest temple in Hangzhou with a history of over 1,700 years. It is also regarded as a treasure of the Buddhist culture, housing various historic relics from different dynasties. A maverick monk named Ji Gong (1148 - 1209) was ordained at Lingyin Temple. Our guide will tell you some interesting stories about this renowned monk who usually wore rags , was unkempt, and violated Buddhist commandments.

Then we will proceed to a tea plantation to learn about the tea culture of Hangzhou. Longjing Tea or dragon well tea of more than 1200 years old is the No. 1 tea in China and regarded as the “Green Queen”.
