In the morning, our driver will meet you at 7:10am of your hotel lobby then transfer to Dujiangyan Panda Base( has English speaking staff services you), need 1.5hrs driving, 70km.

NOTE: The " Self-guided" tour will be no tour guide, only with the private car and Chinese speaking driver for the whole trip. Since you booked the " Self-guided" tour, Your local tour operator(English speaking) will confirm everything with you after booking, like the pickup time, how to travel for each sites and our driver will have pone translate App and it's easy to communicate with you.

If you love pandas, what better way to get up close with them and contribute to their welfare than this 1-day volunteer program at Dujiangyan Panda Base in Sichuan? An experience you'll never forget, not only will you work alongside members of the Panda Base staff, you'll be visiting them in their home, learning about conservation and helping to conduct behavioral scientific research on giant and red pandas.

You'll arrive at the Research Base entrance around 08:30, where you'll be met by conservation education staff who will act as your translator and guide, before they escort you to the panda enclosure to meet the keeper—your teacher for the day.

You'll work alongside the keeper who will assign you tasks including cleaning the pandas' enclosures, food preparation
After lunch, the staff will meet you and escort you back to the enclosure—the Panda Base is very big and it's easy to get lost in the maze of trails.

Next, go to the Mt.Qingcheng which is divided into two parts they are called Front Mountain and Back Mountain. The front mountain is the main part of Mount Qingcheng Scenic Area and covers about 15 square kilometers. The back mountain covers about 100 square kilometers. The clear streams, verdant woods and magnificent peaks make the back mountain very attractive. In winter, it is very cold in Mount Qingcheng; but in summer, it is so cool that Mount Qingcheng is regarded a great summer resort by many people.

At this mountain you can see many cultural relics and historic sites in the front mountain and the scenery here is also very beautiful. The main attractions in the front mountain are Natural Drawing, Jianfu Palace, Tianshi Cave, Chaoyang Cave and Shangqing Palace, etc. The main attractions in the back mountain are Golden Cliff and Sky Storehouse, Goddess Cave, Clouds Caves, View of Platform Bridge, etc.
