In the morning, our driver will meet you at 9:00am of your Chengdu hotel then transfer to Qingyang palace, need 15 minutes driving, 7km.

Stop 2

We will spend one hour there and you can see the many important Taoist relics. The most valuable one is undoubtedly the wooden engraviong of Dao Zang Ji Yao Engraved in the 32th years of Guangxu's regein during the Qing Dynasty, this volume contains over 130,000 two-sided wooden gravings. It is belived to be the most comprehensive Taoist scripture.

Qingyang Palace is a Taoist temple nationwide known where Dao Zang Ji Yao, the most integrated collection to research Taoism is stored. In spite of a location in the busy and gritty center of Chengdu, Qingyang Palace makes an unexpected quiet and peaceful temple to glimpse of Taoism in China.

Afterwards drive to visit Du Fu Cottage - the former residence of a very famous poet in Tang dynasty, he wrote more than 240 poems at this cottage reflecting the sorrows of the village.

The Wuhou Temple (The Temple of Marquis Wu) in Chengdu's south suburb is the most famous and influential of the temples dedicated to Zhuge Liang who lived from 181 until 234 AD.

He is one of China's famous historic figures, and he was a renowned minister and military strategist for Emperor Liu Bei (161-223) of the Shu Kingdom during the Three Kingdoms period in China. The temple is also dedicated to Emperor Liu Bei.

It was built during the Qing dynasty in 1672. Because Zhuge Liang was granted the title of "Wuxiang Hou" (Marquis Wuxiang) in his lifetime, this temple is known as the Wuhou Memorial Temple. The temple is one of Chengdu's major attractions and contains numerous statues to Emperor Liu Bei, Zhuge Liang and other officials of the Shu Kingdom, and there are ancient inscriptions and tablets that are famous in China.

Next, take the private car to Jinli old street which is an impressive trip to the famous Jinli Old Street. Time steals away from you quietly while walking on the lively streets which are full of delicious local snacks, delicate artifacts, interesting folk shows, etc.

And then, you will be taken to a hidden spiritual Buddhist temple in the hustling downtown of Chengdu – Wenshu Temple which is the best-preserved Buddhist temple in Chengdu. It is the home of the Buddhist Association of Sichuan Province and Chengdu City.
During this temple, you can see the ancient architectures, buddhas’ statues,buddhist sutras, Painting and calligraphy treasures.
