Here you can find all the information you need to know about the Göreme, which will help you get more information. It is a land worth following not only with its nature but also with its history dating back to the Chalcolithic Age. Göreme, whose name is mentioned as 'Korama' in a document from the 6th century, was a cemetery region during the Roman period. In the 11th to 13th centuries, it became a very important religious center for Christians. This information was originally published in 1985 by UNESCO, which entered the World Heritage List. The Güllüdere Valley in Göreme gets its name from its rocks that change color with the season and weather conditions and turn red and rose with the sunlight. Watching the reflection of the sunset on the fairy chimneys while sitting cross-legged on the rocks has become a Cappadocia travel tradition for this reason.

2

With its observation terrace, the Kızılçukur Valley is one of the areas where the most special views of Cappadocia can be watched. It has such a fascinating appearance with its red tones that it makes you feel like you are in a living space from another planet.
