About this experience

They will explore significant landmarks such as the ancient Khmer temple of Phnom Chisor, constructed in the 11th century using laterite and brick, and adorned with carved sandstone lintels. Built under the rule of King Suryavarman I, who practiced Brahmanism, the temple was dedicated to the Hindu gods Shiva and Vishnu. Phnom Tamoa Zoo Wildlife Rescue Center, the largest zoo in Cambodia, home to over 1,200 rescued animals across 102 species such as Asian elephants, tigers, pileated gibbons, Siamese crocodiles, and Malayan sun bears. The Ta Prohm Temple at Tonle Bati is a large complex with a square sandstone structure, two libraries, vaulted galleries, pavilions, and permanent basins. The temple, built under King Jayavarman VII in the late 12th or early 13th century, features entrance gopuras on both sides.
