Detailed itinerary

1

The Rumija 4x4 Experience starts from the city of Bar, and the first stop is the ancient olive tree, which is over 2000 years old and is one of the oldest olive trees in Europe. Various legends and traditions are associated with it, which you will have the opportunity to hear from the guide.

2

On Kurilo Hill, we pass through one of the largest olive groves in our city and country, home to over a thousand ancient olive trees. Lining the route on both sides, these majestic trees create a unique atmosphere, while the entire journey offers stunning panoramic views of the Adriatic Sea and the city of Bar. Here, we make a stop for sightseeing and photos, all accompanied by a beautiful view of the sea.

3

You’ll see a monument of the “Battle for Bar,” which happened in 1042 AD. This battle was a turning point in the history of Bar and our state. With this monument, you have a panoramic view of the entire town of Bar.

4

After two and half hours of exploring Bar you will come on Rumija Mountain, where a lunch break is taken. What makes our tour unique is the lunch break we take on Rumija Mountain at an altitude of 1000 meters above sea level. A hospitable approach, traditional food, and drinks, such as specialty meat and vegetable dishes cooked in old oven, domestic olives, cheese, homemade pomegranate juice, as well as homemade grappa and wine, will make your tour unforgettable. The lunch break in a peaceful and quiet ambiance, where you can only hear the sounds of nature, is a unique experience and pleasure that adds to the unforgettable vacation.
