About this experience

This morning at 08:00 am, our professional  tour guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel,We are going to visit the famous Mogao Grottoes, the most well-known caves of Buddhism art in China.Lunch will be served in a local farmer’s restaurant, taste the local food.Then,We are going to a local artist studio, learn how to draw a flying angel on the paper.

Detailed itinerary

At 8:00 am, our professional tour guide will meet you in the lobby of your hotel, by car / bus to the Digital Exhibition Center of Mogao Grottoes,(We should make an appointment with Mogao Grottoes in advance.) We will see the first film introduce the history of Dunhuang & the Silk Road, it is 20 minutes long. then, transfer to the 360° cinema, we will see the beautiful grottoes include the Buddhism sculpture and paintings through 360°, it's 20 minutes long as well.

By bus to the grottoes area, the professional cave guide will show visit the different caves one by one.

14:00 pm, the art class in a local artist studio, let's learn how to draw a angel on the paper. a professtional artist will assist you to complete the painting.

16:30 pm, return back to your Dunhuang hotel.
