About this experience

As we make our way through the creeks to Morris Island, you will have the opportunity to see dolphins and wading birds in the marsh and oyster beds. We will land on the south end of Morris Island, near the Lighthouse, where you will have 90 minutes to walk the beach on your own to look for shells, shark teeth and fossils. As we make our way back to the dock, you will likely see dolphins as the inlet behind the island is one of their favorite places to hang out.

Stop 1

Join us as we cruise through the tidal creeks behind Folly Beach where you will have the opportunity to see the local wildlife as we make our way to the southern point of Morris Island. As we approach this uninhabited island, the first landmark you will see is the Morris Island Lighthouse, which has stood in this spot since 1876. Upon our arrival, we will exit the boat, and you will have the opportunity to explore the island at your own pace for 90-120 minutes. Morris Island is one of the best places in the world to look for shark teeth, fossils or shells. You may also want to relax on the beach and take in the sights and sounds of the ocean.
