Detailed itinerary

1

Mountains, fresh air and a mirror of turquoise waters that invite you to enjoy the tranquility and beauty of the Mendoza views.

2
Stop 2

The town of Uspallata is a good place to stop along the way on the trip to Las Cuevas, Puente del Inca or Aconcagua.

Uspallata is a historic town that is related to the Crossing of the Andes in the fight for independence. It was in this place where the troops of the Army of the Andes of General Don José de San Martín met and who, under the command of Juan Gregorio de las Heras, marched through one of the mountain passes towards Chile in the year 1817.

3

The Los Penitentes Ski Center and Mountain Park is a Mendoza classic, located just 180 km from the city of Mendoza and 15 km from Chile.
We only stop in winter if there is snow.

4
Stop 4

Located in the heart of the Andes Mountains, 2,720 meters above sea level, the Puente del Inca is a mountain area famous for its natural bridge, a unique geological curiosity in the world and declared a Natural Monument.

The Bridge has been formed by the action of mineral waters. The river flow made its way through sediments deposited at the bottom of a trough and then cemented by the thermal waters. These give the area its orange, yellow and ocher color, and any object that is placed under them such a hardness due to the impregnation in mineral salts that it acquires a "petrified" appearance. On the right bank is home to the famous hot springs, with five sources of the same type, but with different temperatures and components. The unique hills next to it and the Las Cuevas River that passes dozens of meters below the bridge complete the postcard.

5
Stop 5

Aconcagua Provincial Park is a protected area in the Argentine Andes, on the border with Chile. There is Mount Aconcagua, whose top is covered with snow and which is one of the highest in South America. At the entrance of the park you can take a path to the lagoon Los Horcones and the Quebrada del Durazno. Thanks to its altitude, it is home to huge Andean condors.
If there is temporary it cannot be accessed
