Stop 1

The tour offers different walking levels, from easy access to the blue waterfall to more adventurous hiking toward the Blue Springs, where the river’s color is created. Blue River Tubing at Rio Celeste, Tenorio National Park is a fun and refreshing adventure for all ages. As you float along the river, you’ll be surrounded by Costa Rica’s lush rainforest, with great opportunities to spot toucans, sloths, frogs, and many other native wildlife species. Please note that the water tubing does not take place at the Blue Waterfalls or inside the national park; instead, we drive approximately 15–20 minutes to Katira, where the tubing experience begins outside the park boundaries. While the rainy season can be challenging during August and September, the rest of the year offers ideal conditions. One of the main reasons to book early is that we guarantee an unforgettable Blue River tubing experience. This unique tour is best enjoyed as a private experience, allowing it to be fully customizable and personalized to our customers’ preferences, with no rush—we can spend 2 to 3 relaxing hours on the river for a truly memorable Costa Rican adventure.
